Continental Realty Group Acquires Carson Street Towers in Overland Park

Overland Park, KS (September 15, 2021) — Continental Realty Group, through its subsidiary Continental Realty Assets, Ltd. ("CRA"), a Denver-based multifamily owner and operator, is pleased to announce the purchase of the 225-unit Carson Street Towers Apartments in the Overland Park submarket of Kansas City.
Carson Street Towers (“CST”) was built in 2020 and just recently completed all construction and amenities. CST is part of the Corbin Park development, which is a class A retail center with tenants such as Scheels and Lifetime Fitness. CST consists of five levels of multifamily units over a ground-level parking structure and boasts an impressive amenity package.
The community benefits from excellent employment, retail, entertainment, and transportation support. Major nearby employers include the Sprint Corporate Headquarters, Cerner Innovation Campus, Garmin Headquarters, Advent Health, St. Luke’s Hospital, and the Menorah Medical Center. Walkable retail and entertainment within Corban Park Retail Village include Sprout’s Farmers Market, Lifetime Fitness, REI, Dave & Buster’s, and Scheels. Additionally, Whole Foods, Target, and Trader Joe’s are within ten minutes from the community.
The community will be managed by Lincoln Property Company, a premier manager of Class A communities in the Kansas City market. CRA plans to add additional improvements to the clubhouse and leasing center, community lounge, and pool area, as well as adding a package room for residents.
